Such granaries are also called padoli in some regions of Punjab. This padoli was constructed using the support of a wall. It was made by the lady of the house, using an admixture of mud and husk, and was finished with plaster. It was divided into four compartments having individual openings with wooden lids. The compartments were used to store different grains.
