This drawing clearly shows the “main features of the artist Remigio Cantagallina, he used to fill up the space between the thin trunks of the trees with a short horizontal hatching in order to make them stand out against the background”, it is possible to make a comparison with some drawings preserved at Uffizi (inv. 249P, 203P, 91056F), and at Louvre (inv. 21294). “The trees usually put in the foreground, seem to be a sort of wings, this feature probably comes from his working with Giulio Parigi as a scenographer for the Medici Family.
