London University Examinations for Women Page 12 and 13

University of London regulations relating to the examinations for women. London University began offering general examinations for women in May 1869, granting the women who passed a certificate of proficiency. It was not until 1878 that it became the country's first 'co-educational' institution of higher education and allowed men and women to take examinations on the same terms.
