What if Elizabethan style dress had never quite fallen out of fashion? What if cod pieces and capes were still all the rage? Recognisable contemporary clothing is overlayed with Elizabethan detailing and accessories.

Nick Bottom, played by Lewis Jones, wears a check cotton shirt trying to be a doublet, or a doublet trying to be a shirt over gabardine trousers with cod-piece. The period for the production is now, but not quite this now.
