Pair of hand-knitted stockings of Shetland wools in shades of white, rust, blue, yellow and brown. They were knitted in stocking stitch in the round with a square-turned heel and shaped toes. The top 3 inches are ribbed. With a design of horizontal bands decorated with small zig zag, diamond and geometric patterns in a traditional 'Fair Isle' design. The colours are stranded across the back.
