Palácio Conde dos Arcos

Most of the official buildings stand on the left bank of Rio Vermelho. Most of them are military, religious and administrative constructions, including the Government Palace Conde dos Arcos, which served as the head office and residence of the state governors until 1937. Aside from the multiple renovations across the years, it conserves the original features.
