The grandiosity of the Palácio da Justiça is owed to its scale and design, as well as the quality of the materials used by the architect, especially the granite coverings. Occupying an area of 3,600 square meters, the building has eight floors and a main entrance on the fourth floor, facing east and turning towards the Garden of Cordoaria. This facade, the main front, is embellished by a ten-pillar porch, signalling the main entrance, and emphasized by a statue authored by Leopoldo de Almeida, representing an allegory of Justice.
