DuPont Company's smokeless powder plant located in Haskell, New Jersey (top panorama) had a capacity to produce 210,000 pounds of smokeless powder and 40,000 pounds of guncotton a day. Panoramic view shows boiler houses, electric power houses, pumping stations, filter plants along with guncotton, beater and poacher houses.

The Trojan Powder Company's plant in Seiple, Pennsylvania (bottom panorama) produced grenade powder for hand grenades used by American forces in World War One.

Digitized in entirety, this illustrated work contains photographs and histories of companies that produced munitions for use in World War One. Includes the E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company, Pennsylvania Trojan Powder Company, the Hercules Powder Company, Atlas Powder Company, the Bethlehem Loading Company, the Aetna Explosives Company, and the Butterworth-Judson Corporation.
