The earring consists of a cast protome of
Pegasus attached to a hoop. The hooked
end of the hoop passes beneath the wings
and through a hole in the mane. Pegasus
is depicted in profile with the front legs
bent backwards. The feathers on the
wings and hair of the mane are indicated
by deep grooves and the eyes as bosses.
The nostrils are flared and the mouth is
slightly open.
