This pendant is decorated with two verre églomisé plaques. In this technique, glass workers painted, drew or gilded an image on the underside of a piece of glass. They then backed the image with metal foil, usually gold or silver. The pendant was once in the Treasury of the Cathedral of the Virgin of the Pillar, Saragossa, Spain.
