Silver pendant of circular form with a corded wire rim, with a hoop and suspension ring above and below.The obverse set with a stag horn roundel depicting St George, mounted on his charger, preparing to strike the dragon, whose body forms a coil round the entire rim. The reverse is set with a round silver-gilt plate, engraved with the Sudarium (or 'Vernicle', the Veil of Veronica), and held by the saw-tooth edge of the case.
