This gold pendant was found in Coundon on the outskirts of Coventry. This side shows Christ as the Man of Sorrows and the other side has Christ's head. Three of the four cornerpins remaining in their original positions and it is thought they originally had pearls on the end. Despite being made from an expensive material the image has been crudely engraved. Despite the quality of the engraving this would still have been a high status object.
