Religious pendant, consisting of a vertical oval frame of rock crystal containing a case of enamelled gold. The sides of the rock crystal are pierced by four florets of gold, partly enamelled in red and green. The top floret extends to form a suspension loop, with a loose ring of gold inserted through it. The gold case in the centre has a gold ground verre églomisé painting of St Francis on the front with the inscription 'S FRACICVS DA PAVLA OR' round it, inside a border of dots and bars on a black enamelled ground. The back of the case has a similar border, but the centre is blank.
