LIM03. LIMA (PERU) 11/12/2013.- Two inmates of the Miguel Castro Castro prison dressed as the Quixote(l) and Sancho Panza (2nd-l) play pieces of the Spanish novel “The ingenious gentleman Don Quixote de la Mancha” today, Tuesday 12th of November 2013, in Lima (Peru). The play is part of a campaign of the Penitentiary National Institute (INPE) to encourage reading among the inmates, in the beginning of the campaign named “The book as an extension of imagination”. “What we want is to encourage reading among the inmates and for society to take part and donate (books)” told Efe the chief of INPE, José Luis Pérez Guadalupe.
