This is a photograph of Raja Ravi Varma's daughter, Mahaprabha with her infant son, Marthanda Varma. They are posing for the artist for the painting 'There comes Papa.' The painting was sent to the World's Columbian Exposition, Chicago in 1893.

The photograph was later pasted on to an album with a note "Mother of H. H. Setu Lakshmi Bayi, Ranee of Travancore & her infant son Marthanda Varma"
