An ancient sport, archery is still popular in contemporary times. In England and American the practice of shooting arrows towards targets is known as "field archery." And similarly, the practice of hunting game with a bow and arrows is known as "bowhunting." In the mid-1950s three couples posed for a candid photograph during a field archery outing. Apparently both men and women enjoyed the sport equally.
