Cribbage is an ancient card game notable because of the use of a board, with pegs, to keep score. Probably originating in the early 1600s, cribbage is recognized as one of the most popular card games in the English-speaking world. Especially popular among sailors historically, the game today is a favorite of American submariners. But sailors aren't the only people who enjoy cribbage. Players in all walks of life still enjoy pegging along in what is sometimes called "the best two-hand game."
