Pidha (Stool)

In this region, sheesham wood (locally called talli ki lakdi) is used to make the legs and frame of the pidha. A criss-cross pattern of weaving the seat is common in stools and charpoys. A stool with this pattern of webbing is called gherewadi pidha/pidhi.
