This type of legs seen in this pidhi is common to manja (charpoy) in Punjab. Typically, they would be lacquered in bright colours, faint traces of which can still be seen in this example. Part of a private collection, this old pidhi is no longer used for sitting and is safely stored as one of the few examples of its age.
