Cypriot prehistoric plank-shaped figure made of whitish chalk. It represents the human form in an extremely schematic way. Tiny projections at the height of the shoulders most probably indicate the arms. The double piercings seen on the upper part of the figure were probably used for suspending earrings, as we now from similar clay figurines produced in Cyprus in the same period. Clay plank-shaped figurines are usually found in graves and sanctuaries and in most cases they represent females. The precise function of the very rare stone plank-shaped figures is not known.
