A tapestry designed by the artist Andre Naude (1950-2023) and made by the Marguerite Stevens Studio in Johannesburg. The work was first exhibited at the Tina Skukan Gallery in Pretoria at the Mind over Matter: Appropriated possession exhibition. Short Biography: Andre Naude was born in 1950 in Johannesburg. He studied under Nico Roos at the University of Pretoria between 1969 and 1972 , in 1973 at the Johannesburg College of Education and a Masters degree in 1995. Naude has been a practising artist with over 40 solo exhibitions during his career. He passed away in Pretoria in 2023.
