Plaque of the Royal Maintenance Office

Yeongseonsa, the Royal Maintenance Office, was the government office in charge of all civil engineering aspects of palace architecture, including construction and repair. The office was established under Gungnaebu, the Department of the Royal Household, in 1895 and abolished in 1907.
