The history of flasks does not go a long way back. At the beginning of the 20th century, soldiers made its use popular, especially in the battlefield, with flasks hung round soldiers’ necks or hand-held. A flask is a water container, usually made of leather, metal or plastic, and is covered with an insulated fabric on the outside with a shoulder strap or belt attachment. Flasks were also an important object belonging to our memories and life as a student. Here is a nostalgic flask from the 70s covered with plastic. It has leather shoulder straps and shows a Pinocchio picture. The protection on the top of the flask has shrunk a little over the years and gained an aesthetic appearance. Do you remember the flask you used in primary school?
