On 26th September 1936 the monument of Wojciech Bogusławski sculptured by Jan Szczepkowski was unveiled on Teatralny Square. The Mayor of Warsaw – Stefan Starzyński – gave a speech during the ceremony. The monument was funded by the theatre community of the Second Polish Republic.
