Portrait of Carlo Panzeri

Carlo Panzeri (1875-1918), was, for many years the administrator of the estate of the Medici del Vascello marquises; he also took care of their agricultural estates of Costigliole d'Asti. He succeeded in promoting its wine export and dairy production with great success. Knight of the Crown of Italy, assigns his beuest to charity in the will, not forgetting the Maggiore Hospital of his native Milan, to which he leaves 50,000 lire. The execution of the portrait is entrusted to Guido Zuccaro, creator also of artistic stained glass windows with Innocente Cantinotti and Giovanni Buffa.
