Portrait of Gaetana Guidetti Ferrario

Gaetana Guidetti Ferrario (1817-1903), owner of a renowned tailor's shop in via Broletto in Milan, dies in his villa in Merate (Lecco). The Ospedale Maggiore is named universal heir but the legates are so numerous that the hereditary axis becomes thinner to such an extent that it does not guarantee the portrait of the benefactor.
