"Along his life many artists immortalize the image of Santiago Rusiñol through their drawing and paintings. We can mention Ramon Casas, Ignacio Zuloaga, Ramon Pichot or Pablo Picasso, among others.

This portrait, drew and dedicated by M. T. Müller, represents Santiago Rusiñol at the age of thirty-nine years, when he lived with other artists at the Orient street in the Parisian district of Montmartre.

Rusiñol happened to meet Müller in the Palette Academy in Paris, where both increased their training. Despite the quality of the drawing, that’s the only work we know from this artist, from whom we ignore even his name."
