Portrait of Silvana Pizzi

Silvana Pizzi does not directly benefit the Maggiore Hospital. Her father Amilcare, famous printer, dedicated to his only daughter, (intelligent, and full of artistic and cultural interests,) who died very young after a long illness, during the Second World War (after the bombing had also severely damaged the printer) a Necklace of art books: the title to the daughter (the "Silvana editoriale" is still active today) and offers as a gift to the Ca 'Granda, in memory of the girl, a volume of the series: "The Art Collections of the Ospedale Maggiore of Milan ".
