Virginia Zuffi (1848-1904), widow of the architect, archaeologist and painter Tito Vespasiano Parravicini, in turn a cousin of the two benefactors of the Maggiore Lamberto and Eugenio Parravicini Hospital, to whom we owe the creation of a foundation that promoted clinical studies and research. She named the Maggiore Hospital universal heir, asking that a portrait of her husband, already in her possession and that she donates, be included in the Picture Gallery.
