Portrait of Woman, watercolour of the painter Carlos Carneiro, contemporary aquarellist and tracer, disciple of his father António Carneiro and also of Marcos de Oliveira. We are before a woman who is writing on a round table; the composition is rich in colour highlighting the blue of the sweater and the yellow of the lamp on the table, which confesses a type of sensitivity more prone to suggestion than the representation of its motifs, by means of nervous and incisive lines. It is in watercolours that Carlos Carneiro presents his most acclaimed and prized works.
