Portuguese guitar (Coimbra model) built by Joaquim Grácio (1912-1993).

"Quim Grácio" or "Kim Grácio", as he was known, had his workshop in Lisbon before emigrating to the USA (Chicago) in 1961. Besides his work with Portuguese guitars, he also manufactured violins and bows.

After a few years in the USA, he returned to Portugal in 1976 and established a workshop at his home on Costa da Caparica and Sobreda.

This guitar was played by António Chainho and Luísa Amaro in concerts of the cycle 'A Musician, A Maecenas' organized by Museu Nacional da Música.
