The “Feria de Abril” (April Festival) or Seville Festival is a spring festival that takes place annually in the city of Seville, where the public gathers in a large fairground called the “Real de la Feria.” The streets are filled with stalls and adorned with lanterns, and some 500,000 visitors pass through the area daily while horsemen and horse-drawn carts circle the fairground. It is celebrated one to two weeks after Semana Santa (Holy Week) and coincides with the bull-fighting festival in the Plaza de la Maestranza bull-fighting ring. This event has a great social and economic impact on the city and has been declared a Festival of International Tourist Interest (Source: Wikipedia).
