Praça do Mercado

At the Praça do Mercado, the surrounding buildings and the residential nucleus close to it demonstrate the ability of the Bandeirantes in adapting European techniques to local difficulties, overcoming the shortage of materials and the absence of labor. There is plenty of drawing solutions, and proportions of eaves, plat bands and frames. Everything can be compared to those existing in Portugal and colonies such as Évora and the Açores, for example.
