On the left wall of the chapel of the Ss.mo Sacramento. Cremonese school of the time, with reference to the Campi workshop. The Virgin, with polycrome dress, presents baby Jesus at the Temple, handing him to the old prophet Simeon; various characters are represented in the painting, ending with an architectural background with two corinthian capitals on which are gripped two boys who look curiously at the event. The baby, seated, lifts the veil covering a basket with two turtle-doves. Colourful and lively, the work is one of the most interesting in the cathedral.
