Preston Guild handkerchief

Handkerchief produced to commemorate the Preston Guild of 1882, printed in black and white with red geometric border. Printed in the centre with a portrait of the Guild Mayor Edmund Birley surrounded by images of people celebrating this important civic ocassion. Scenes represented include 'Looking for Lodgings (Midnight)' and 'The Aesthetic Age'.
