Professor Lord Robert Winston, Professor of Science and Society and Emeritus Professor of Fertility Studies, Imperial College London, and fertility treatment pioneer.

Primrose Hill is one of six protected panoramas in London and is listed Grade II. Until the middle of the 19th century, it was farmland in the ownership of Eton College. In 1841 it was purchased by the Crown Commissioners and became an extension of Regent's Park. Primrose Hill became a popular venue for public meetings, demonstrations and rallies.
