Rebbecca is one of the women supported by Carakana Program and here she shares her story: MY THERAPY
My name is Rebecca, I have learned how to cross-stitch while at Lang’ata Women’s Prison. Due to stress and depression since I was imprisoned, I developed diabetes, and my pressure used to go up very high. But once I was introduced to cross-stitching through Carakana, my sugars and blood pressure dropped. This has been my therapy and I don’t sit and worry anymore.
