The Goan community of Pakistan hail from Goa, a small sea-facing city located on the west coast of India. In 1510, Goa was invaded by the Portuguese and established as a hub for spice trade. As the Goans began to move out of their city and spread across the subcontinent, many of them made their way to Karachi. They brought with them their vibrant culture and traditions, as well as their love for music, dance, theatre, and of course, food.
