putty: Funny Face Play Putty

In the toy industry, it is doubtful that imitation amounts to flattery. The silicone-based clay Silly Putty sold well beginning in the 1950. In 1965 a Chicago toy firm brought out its own brand of clay, Play Putty. Packed, similar to Silly Putty, in a plastic egg, there was no doubt Play Putty was a knock-off.
