Gold medal won by Frank Beaurepaire for first place in the 880 Yards swim on 29th January, 1910. Medal features A.S.S.A. monogram above a shield similar to that of New South Wales. It is supported by a fish at each side. Surrounding text in legend reads "AUSTRALASIAN AMATEUR SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS". Reverse inscription framed by wreath reads "880 Yards / Championship / of Australia / Won by / F. BEAUREPAIRE / at Melbourne / 29.1.1910 / Time 12 min 15 secs".
