New Delhi , India

A qanat or tent panel is beautifully illustrated with bold and striking variant of a flowering plant in an arched niche. It depicts the three arches and each one is done in the similar fashion. Maroon, black, green, white and yellow colours are used for decorating the qanat, which is a fine example of 17th century. Printed and painted in a colourful manner makes this quant extra-ordinary work of Mughal art.
