Qing-dynasty Red Lacquer Closet Embellished with Landscape and Figure Patterns

This is a three-story closet with the upper two equipped with double doors and the lowest a drawer. It is coated with red lacquer except the back and the bottom. With copper hinges and mortise locks, the doors and drawer are embellished with landscape and figure motifs. The rest faces of the closet are carpeted with check patterns. These ornaments on this cuboid, composed of clear-cut and well-arranged lines, look full of liveliness.
