QPAC

Interface 153.0194E / -27.4741N was developed by artist Craig Walsh for Queensland Biennial Festival of Music in 2003. Craig Walsh is primarily interested in hybrid and site-specific projects and the exploration of alternative contexts for contemporary art. He often utilises projection in response to existing environments and landscapes. In this work, QPAC technical staff assisted in building and installing the art installation of what appeared to be bands of light that changed like lights on a stereo. The title of the work reflects the geographic coordinates of QPAC.
