Biography: Irreverent, with a critical and attentive eye to the social and political reality, Adres (1981) has left little pearls of visual intervention on the streets of Lisbon and surrounding areas since 2004. Even in the 90s, he had a brief foray into graffiti but the dissatisfaction with its limitations and the closed nature of that world made him stop, until such time that he discovered Banksy’s work and the Wooster Collective website. When he faced with this new graphic and visual dynamic that conquered the world, Adres felt infected. The contact with the stencil not only sparked his imagination and willingness to intervene, but also came to give him a tool that is well suited to his abilities and with the language he wanted to express.
