Queen Victoria Monument, Piccadilly, Manchester

The Monument to Queen Victoria was created in 1901 by sculptor Edward Onslow Ford. Bronze statuary is set on a Portland stone plinth and elaborate architectural features. On one side Victoria is seated on a throne, on the other a female figure nurses two infants.
