Paindi (Water pitcher storage)

In families where a number of people lived together, the number of paindi constructed would also be increased to ensure enough water can be stored for the entire family. These identical paindi were made on either side of a tibari in a haveli. As there were four families living together, another pair of identical paindi were constructed on the opposite side.
