Record of detainees in the republican prison of El Ingenio

The shortage of written testimonies on the repression exercised in the republican zone during the Civil War confer a great historical value to this document, integrated in the Collection Sergio Aguilar Siles that was donated to the Provincial Historical Archive of Almería in the year 2013. It is a book in which, as a record, the entry of detainees was established in the premises of the sugar factory in the Almeria neighborhood of Los Molinos, which had been set up as a prison to confine the elements related to the insurrection military. The line consists of the name of the detainee, the day and date of entry, the reason, the authority to which it passes and its situation, all the entries in the notebook belong to the year 1937.
