Canadian singer Paul Anka became a teen idol in the 1950s and 60s with such songs as "Lonely Boy," "Diana," and "Put Your Head on My Shoulder." His songwriting skills showed up in various places, including the theme song to "The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson." In the 1970s, Anka's career underwent a revival, particularly with the song "Having My Baby" and a Kodak jingle, "The Times of Your Life." The duet "I Don't Like to Sleep Alone" with Odia Coates was another of his 70s hits and appears on this album.
