Red-figured Apulian stemless cup with two handles, one of which is broken yet glued. Overall, the paint is in good condition. The main illustration portrays a female head in profile, with a white and unadorned sakkos finished with a double knot. The outline is drawn in yellow. The only visible hair, in a single tuft, is over the ear (in this case, without earrings), covering it completely. The central figure is successively framed by concentric circles in red (painted) and white, being the second circle composed by a wavy motif directed to the right, a draw traditional in Apulian pottery and in South Italy in general. The back of the cup, mostly black, replicates the last frame of the interior at its maximum width. There is an extensive use of white, yellow and red ink, as it started to be seen in late Apulian pottery.
