Reichsfluchtsteuerberscheid, the refugee tax payment certificate that allowed Sigmund Freud and his household to leave Vienna in 1938. The Nazi's made it extremely difficult for Jews to leave Austria after the Anschluss in March 1938. A large amount of this huge sum of money was paid by Marie Bonaparte, a wealthy friend of Freud's.
